Hey guys!! September is pretty much the most exciting month for all the Fashionistas out there! Fashion Week is already happening and I have been drooling over what’s been on the catwalks this year.

I’ve always been a huge fan of a good nude lip, I wear it constantly; to a point that I pretty much have the same shade in every brand I buy! However, dark lips has been all over the runway this season and as it’s Autumn, it’s a great time to experiment with some new colours!

Personally, going for a darker or even a red lip colour is way out of my comfort zone, BUT HEY! I can’t always be a plain Jane, so I’ve opted for this dark plum shade for a vampy makeup look. When balancing out makeup, people always say, go for simple eyes when you have a bold lip. However with myself, I feel that it’s too top heavy and very unbalanced, so I just broke the rules and decided to add a smokey eye to this look for a delicate gothic vibe.

Style and fashion can be very subjective, and can be for makeup too, so have fun and create a look unique for yourself!

Changing your hairstyle can also change the way the makeup can look! As I am feeling a little ‘adventurous’ with my bold lips, I decided to try out my top favourite hairstyles to see the different looks!
This A/W, the catwalk has been rocking the Side Parting. Maybe there isn’t not much to it but it has been showcased on the runway by the likes of Balmain, Doir and Donna Karen!
My natural hairline is a side parting, however I emphasised it a little more to give a nice side sweep motion for a smouldering edgy look! All you need now is your leather jacket and you’re good to go!
the halfup title.jpgI have been loving the half up bun (as referred to as the ‘Hun’) Super effortless and playful! It has been a great trend all summer long and it seems like it’s here to stay! I feel that this hairstyle adds a girly vibe to my overall makeup look.

This is my favourite go to hairstyle when I need to look instantly Chic! I just love the simpleness of this hairstyle, with loose curls framing my face; giving it a classy and elegant look.
I cut my hair to shoulder length little over a year ago and I am deciding whether I want to go for the chop again; however with this look, it can be a simple up-do for a ‘shorter bob’ look without having the commitment! One day I will master the faux bob!

I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post! Something a little different, with styling and beauty! If you guys are interested in this makeup look or any products I used for this ‘Autumn Glam’ look, feel free to comment below or Tweet me! It may become a new blog post/tutorial idea!! 🙂

Peace & Love
